I’ll use this post to highlight some of the cool things that came my way in 2009. I have been pretty lucky this year!
I won a URB Magazine contest and I was able to create a custom pair of Nike ID Air Max 90’s at the Montalban Theater in Hollywood.
Joel from Jagster made me a pendant of my logo that was created by Puro.
Jeff from Citylocs.com gifted me with a couple of pairs of CityLocs with my logo.
Mark Alcala from Traffic CC candied my lens hood and then had Mike Lamberson pinstripe it.
My good friend Castro from Maisto created a tampo “No Bueno Upholstery” for the Outlaws line and also put my name and Steph’s on the back window!
I shot my first cover for DUB Magazine. The issue premiered at the 2009 SEMA show in Las Vegas.
Stephanie and I traveled out of California to do some photography work. We flew to Atlanta Georgia and drove to Las Vegas for the Super Show and SEMA.
I also got to attend some non car related events through out the year.

To finish off 2009, Stephanie & I were invited to the much hyped and much anticipated Famous Stars & Straps/Snoop Dogg Decade event. Thanks to Victor from the ID Agency. I was onstage for the whole performance! Snoop, Travis Barker, The Game, DJ Quick, Pharrell, Kurupt, Nipsy Hustle and many more!
2009 was a overall a great year. The best part of 2009 for me was all of the cool people I got to meet and the new friendships I gained throughout the year. I could not have done any of this without the support of my family especially wife Stephanie and my kids Caila and Julian. They were very understanding throughout the year. I hope 2010 will build off of 2009 and only get better for me and everyone else. Happy New Year everyone!
